The ever wonderful Inverness Choral Society return with Vivaldi’s distinctive, melodic Gloria which they last performed here at Eden Court in 1999 and is now making a re-appearance y popular demand.
A fantastic contrast to Vivaldi’s Gloria is Mendelssohn’s – Hymn of Praise, described by the composer himself as ‘A Symphony-Cantata on Words of the Holy Bible’. This is the first time this has ever been performed by the Inverness Choral Society in the thirty-five years since they began performing twice yearly at Eden Court. Joining the Choral Society on stage will be the usual high quality line up of professional soloists as well as the Inverness Choral Sinfonia
